Times are a Changing

Times are a changing, I see it everywhere. Back in the day we knew about Homelessness but not to the extent we see it today. We knew about drug addiction and overdose but not the extent we see it today. We know about excess Government Spending but not to the extent we see it today. We never saw prices for affordable housing as we see it today. We knew about traffic congestion in So Cal but not the extent we see it today.  We all had our opinions and agreed to disagree but stayed courteous  to each other, not as we see today. The USA was strong and self dependent but not so much today… What has happened why are things the way they are today? 

Taking and rephrasing a verse  from the Bible with a few changes from Jeremiah 22:8-10. Griff’s Front Porch interpretation is  We the People and people from many nations  will pass through this land of the home of the brave land of the free USA  and will ask one another Why has the Lord done such a thing to this nation to be in the condition we are in . The answer will be because we the people have forsaken the covenant of our Lord, fallen off the correct paths and have worshipped and served other Gods.  

Running for Congress in District 47 is an honor and my purpose for running is simple. We all know things are changing and nothing remains the same. What we can do and need to do is make sure we are all on the right path in this District regardless of what political party. We are USA and are one.  Our belief is do the right thing always and follow the golden rule.  Can we fix and improve the issues we face that being homeless, traffic, crime,  high prices for housing, groceries,  inflation, gas,  excess government spending, drug trafficking and overdoses, mental health  to name a few … The answer is Yes we can

How is that possible, Let me tell you. We the people can fix these problems by working together hand in hand at the community, district,  county, state and national level one day at a time.  Nothing is impossible and our enemies against our great nation want nothing more than to continue to weaken the great nation we live in that being the USA.  Freedom is not free and we must put on our overalls and get back to work to stop the issues that are forefront across every city in the USA .. We have the local, county, state and resources to at our disposal to make things better. We the people, the law abiding citizens who love and support the American way  will get this job done in  keeping and making America Great and keeping our front porches clean for all to see. Nobody should be homeless and I know that change is coming where America will not  tolerate homelessness and people with Mental Issues sleeping on our streets. Law and Order are necessary for a nation to survive and funding and supporting our men and woman in Blue and first responders to  keep our cities safe should always be a high priority.

Everyone has a front porch view of what the issues are and we are all in this together to build a better future for tomorrow for our children and future generations. Let us start now by getting out to vote at all elections, supporting safe schools, the police, homeless shelters for all. Get involved with your local schools, districts, community leaders to stand up for the American Way the Constitution and our Flag,  red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice. Times are a Changing.  God Bless You and God Bless America Always.
