Sunset Beach Local "JB" James B. Griffin a lifelong Republican Conservative  has announced he will run for Congress in the 47th District for the March 2024  Presidential Primary Election. This will be his second run for Congress . "JB" was a candidate on the 2020 Presidential Primary Election in District 48 running for Congress.  Our Goals 60,000 Votes nothing is impossible with Faith in God !

What We believe

As a Husband, Father, Grandparent,  small business owner, publisher,  employee  former Volunteer President of the South Pasadena /San Marino Jaycees and Volunteer Board Member on the Pasadena Jaycees and Volunteer Former President of the Pasadena Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes "JB" believes in getting things done through community involvement and doing the right thing always and following the golden rule. "JB" will represent the district to address the needs of the district  to lobby and support bills and legislation for positive changes to best serve the people in District 47 which includes the communities of Seal Beal, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Irvine, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel,  Laguna Beach and Laguna Woods. The district is made up of a very diverse population which is the blueprint of our nation.  "JB" believes everyone has a right to be heard on every issue important to them and that continuous improvement should be the theme of every person who enjoys the  liberties we enjoy in this great nation  and abides by the law in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

Signatures

Your Signature is important . Starting in September 14th  of 2023

We will be collecting Signatures from Registered Voters in District 47 who wish to support our campaign for the Congress Seat in District 47.  The Signature deadline date in 11/8/2023 our goal is to collect at least 100 signatures  which lowers our filing fee to run for office.   Signatures must be from voters residing and registered to Vote in District 47

Working together in the District to address problems with residents, city leaders and elected officials on the local state and national lever to work on solutions and to improve the lives of all us residing in District 47.  

2020 In the Past

In 2020  "JB" Griffin received 1.3% of the votes in the District 48 Preliminary Presidential Election 2,714 total votes which were much appreciated. We have a long way to climb to get to 51% or more of the votes to earn a seat in  Congress starting in 2025.
